School has ended. Both Noah and I are officially on Summer Break (although our break is going to be a bit longer than most)! With school behind me, I’ve been able to focus a bit more on the reality of packing up my entire house. Do you know how much stuff one accumulates over a relatively short period of time?! It’s insane! During this pack and purge period, I was able to sit down with Noah and get some of his insight into our adventures:

Since this video, Noah has been packed up and moved to my mom’s house (along with Princess). Noah had the hard job of choosing which toys, costumes, and stuffed animals made the journey.

And in the one day he’s been at my mom and dad’s, Noah has worn all 3 costumes. Actually, the costume change happened over the span of 1-2 hrs of his first morning!

While Noah was playing, Ken and I were at the house packing it up.

But I can’t tell a lie. My husband approved the expense of professional packers from Elite Moving Services. I was still extremely stressed, but I had 4 men attack my house and pack things up.

In the same time it took Noah to change his 3 costumes, these men packed up my kitchen. If you have ever seen or experienced my kitchen, you know it is quite large and I have a pretty extensive small appliance collection.

Ken and I will finish the packing, Alberto and his crew will help load the dumpster, Alfred, Eric, and Aaron will load up some other belongings, and we’ll officially have movers here on Tuesday, June 27th! The house closes on the 30th, Mexico on July 3rd (for a wedding), then Costa Rica July 22nd!!

Next stop…Mexico!!!!!!!!!!!!
